Registration

Request for registration for the 2024 Ocean Decade Conference has been split into two phases:

• Pre-registration which took place from 8 June to 30 October 2023.
• Full registration which took place from 8 January to 10 February 2024.

Please note that due to the high expected demand and the limited number of places in the Conference venue, participants were required to submit a request for registration, which will then be subject to approval. We believe that this approach ensures a fair and balanced selection process, allowing for a diverse range of voices and perspectives to contribute to the Conference.

Please also note that you should wait for confirmation that your registration has been approved before advancing with any travel plans.

There are no registration fees to participate in the Conference; however, at the time of full registration, participants were kindly asked to make a financial contribution to a travel fund to support travel for selected participants from Small Island Developing States and Least Developed Countries and Early Career Ocean Professionals. This contribution was not compulsory but will be greatly appreciated and will help ensure that no one is left behind in the Ocean Decade!
